Luke 10:25-37 (Parable of the Good Samaritan)

Religious righteousness is not the answer; compassionate charity is. Many often ask the wrong-headed question of religion exposing a concern for who's in and who's out. The right-hearted answer of compassionate charity flows from a life transformed by the love of Christ that recognizes Jesus is our Good Samaritan who showed us compassion. We love God, not by loving to be right, but by loving others with Christ-like compassion, especially when they're not like us.
